Lucy Maes Guest house is a fully restored Grafton home originally built in 1906. It was first opened as a guest house in 2006 when first floor renovations were completed and fully open for business in 2007 upon restoration of the second floor. Restoration took over two years to complete retaining as much original charm as possible. Both floors serve as separate units with a queen size bed in each master bedroom. The second floor has two single beds giving the house the capacity of three couples. Each floor has a modern bathroom with a standalone shower. The downstairs bath features an air jetted spa tub while the upstairs has a period correct replica claw foot tub.
Each floor has a kitchen with refrigerator/freezer and microwave oven. A complete set of dishes, flatware, glasses and cups are provided. Coffee and coffee makers are available. The upstairs has two flats screen TVs, one in each bedroom while the downstairs has one TV located in the kitchen.
We are located right on Main Street, number 312 East Main, between two ice cream shops and numerous antique stores. Grafton’s many wineries and pubs are a short ¼ mile walk west towards the marina.
Weekend charges for a couple on either floor is $130 plus tax. Sunday through Thursday rates on non-holiday weeks are $100 per couple plus tax. Use of the extra bedroom upstairs is $20 per person for one night stays and no charge for multiple nights.
We ask a two night minimum stay on just the three major holiday weekends: Memorial, Independence and Labor Day.
There will be a $25 charge per floor for all cancelations to cover our credit card charges. Cancelations made within two weeks of your scheduled stay will result in a refund if we can re-book the room (less the cancelation fee)
Sorry no pets or children under the age of 15.
We use Green Roof Kennels for boarding and bird dog training. They have a very nice facility located just outside of town and we highly recommend them.
